The debt of gratitude to those who died in the two World Wars was kept at the forefront of minds young and old on Sunday, as Perthshire saluted the fallen.
Remembrance Sunday was marked in Perth at St John’s Kirk on November 14. Provost of Perth and Kinross Dennis Melloy, the Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross Stephen Leckie and senior military representatives from the RAF, 7 SCOTS and Royal Navy laid wreaths during the service.
Due to coronavirus physical distancing requirements, numbers were restricted and by invitation only.No military or civic parades were arranged this year for the same reason.Provost Melloy said: “We owe our veterans and serving forces personnel a great debt of gratitude and each year we are proud to remember
