‘Heroes’ is reportedly getting a reboot series ‘Heroes: Eclipsed’

Heroes is reportedly set for a new reboot series, Heroes: Eclipsed.The new incarnation of the show will be written by original Heroes creator Tim Kring, and will be set years after the events of the original series, according to Deadline.Heroes originally ran for four seasons on NBC from 2006 to 2010, and told the stories of ordinary people who discover that they have supernatural abilities and who are required to work together to prevent catastrophic dangers.It starred actors including Hayden Panettiere, Santiago Cabrera, Jack Coleman, Milo Ventimiglia, Kristen Bell and Zachary Quinto, and picked up Golden Globe, Emmy and BAFTA awards.Heroes: Eclipsed, meanwhile, is set to feature a new set of characters who represent the latest step of human evolution and is set to also include familiar villains alongside new enemies.A limited sequel series Heroes Reborn was aired in 2015, which was also helmed by Kring. Like Eclipsed, Reborn was also set years after the original show and introduced a host of new characters.Deadline report that Heroes: Eclipsed is currently being pitched to buyers now, including original platform NBC, as well as the leading streaming services.

is back with its 11th installment in FX’s long-running horror anthology series, which is officially dubbed and will debut mid-October. Presumably leaning into the queer esthetic teased by leaked photos of the production, the newest season also stars an all-star LGBTQ cast, including Joe Mantello, Zachary Quinto, Russell Tovey, Charlie Carver, Isaac Powell and Denis O’Hare. Rounding out this year’s ensemble are Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Sandra Bernhard and Patti LuPone. For those keeping track, marks the return of alums Quinto, Powell, LuPone, Lourd, Grossman and Bernhard, while the rest are newcomers to the franchise despite having previously worked with co-creator Ryan Murphy.While few details are known about the new season, FX chairman John Landgraf told that season 11 would go back to being one story after last year’s Double Feature. “It actually takes place in different timelines but it’s one subject, one story, with a beginning, middle and an end, like many of the prior stories,” he said. Sadly, for fans of the series, longtime recurring players Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters appear not to have roles in season 11.

The ‘Glee’ star received multiple standing ovations Tuesday night, as the audience was absolutely thrilled to see the actress at her first performance of ‘Funny Girl.’Performing at August Wilson Theater in New York City, Lea’s celebrity friends were also in the audience, including Jonathan Groff, Zachary Quinto, Lee Pace, Ryan Murphy, Harvery Fierstein, Drew Barrymore, among others.The first standing ovation happened before she even said a word, with a total of four standing ovations, even before the end of Act 1, including after her performance of ‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’ and during Act 2 of the show.Attendees were excited to comment on Lea’s display of talent on stage, with Fierstein declaring that he “haven’t had a night like this in the theater in years.” Another person said, “She’s the greatest star alright,” while someone else commented, “I’m going to need to come back this Friday and see it again.”Lea was spotted waving at her friend Jonathan Groff in the audience at the end of the show, getting emotional after noticing the joy of the audience.
