Paramount+ has set the lead cast for its upcoming drama series Sexy Beast, the prequel to the 2000 cult British gangster movie, which is set to premiere in 2023.

Joe Otterson TV ReporterThe “Sexy Beast” prequel series at Paramount+ has found its cast, Variety has learned.The original U.K. drama will star James McArdle (“Mare of Easttown,” “Angels in America) as Gal Dove and Emun Elliot (“The Rig,” “The Gold) as Don Logan, the roles played by Ray Winstone and Ben Kingsley respectively in the original 2000 film.The show follows Gal and Don as best friends and small-time thieves living the good life in ‘90s East London.

Mindy Kaling’s “Never Have I Ever” is set to premiere its third season on Friday, Aug. 12, on Netflix.The coming-of-age comedy series will continue to follow Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and her ongoing struggles as she navigates high school. This season, Devi and Paxton (Darren Barnet) are officially an item, but the couple is expected to face some serious ups and downs as potential suitors for Devi — along with Devi’s own insecurities about their romance — interfere with their relationship.Season 3 of “Never Have I Ever” will also introduce two new characters: Parker, played by Deacon Phillippe, and Addison, played by Terry Hu.Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher executive produce the series, with Fisher also serving as co-creator, showrunner and writer.

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby was left less than impressed with the contents of a Blue Peter time capsule from more than 40 years ago.Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield opened the box, which was buried on the BBC show in 1981, earlier this week.The pair had been excitedly chatting about what was in the capsule as they spoke with Blue Peter legend Sarah Greene.However, they were left sorely disappointed, with Holly saying: "Did one of the Blue Peter dogs put something inside?"The trio had expected to find clips and a script from the old show, but instead were met with a brown, sludgy mess.The box was opened by a specialist as Holly said: "Go for it, let's see what happens. I feel like metal's going to fly off and a spider's going to come out of there."The presenters then started laughing after realising what was in the time capsule.Sarah tried to cover the contents and said: "I don't think you need to see."Holly held her hand over her nose and mouth because of the smell, whilst Phil went in for a closer look.Later on in the show, it was revealed what had happened to the box.The metal lining had corroded and attacked the contents, however they did manage to rescue some crisp wrappers and sweet wrappers from the day it was buried.There was also a disc of a recording of the original Blue Peter theme tune, but it is unlikely to be playable.Fans were also disappointed to see inside the box.One person Tweeted: "Howling at the Blue Peter Time Capsule reveal on This Morning."Another said: "Why just throw it all in? Surely you’d vacuum seal the items to stop the air destroying it all?"One viewer wrote: "I think Sarah Greene genuinely thought somebody had taken a dump in the box.

Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab, and Saise Quinn also star.The series follows the lives of the Garvey sisters bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another. The show was originally ordered at Apple back in September with a 10-episode order.
