Amanda Holden's husband Chris Hughes has reportedly "quit" as the director at talent agency YMU, which sensationally dropped former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield last month. According to MailOnline, Chris resigned as a director of the holding company of YMU nearly two months ago, on April 18.The business is also said to have called in trusted advisers to explore financial restructuring.

The agency confirmed on Friday that it has “parted company” with Schofield, who last week stepped away from his long-time hosting duties on ITV’s “This Morning.” The host has been embroiled in his younger brother’s trial for sexual assault. Timothy Schofield was found guilty of 11 charges related to sexually assaulting a child between 2016 and 2019, and was last week jailed for 12 years. During the trial the court heard that Timothy Schofield had confessed his crimes to his older brother two months before criminal proceedings started, to which the presenter had replied: “I don’t want you to tell me any more…You’ve got to stop, just never do it again. Regardless how that happened, it must never happen again.”

Agency YMU Acquires Majority Stake in Digital Sports Mgmt

K.J. Yossman U.K. talent agency YMU has announced it is expanding into gaming and sports marketing with the integration of Digital Sports Mgmt (DSM) into its sports division. YMU has acquired a majority stake in DSM, which was launched in 2016 by Rob Wadsworth and Tom Henderson. DSM has worked with clients including EA Sports, Sorare, Avery Dennison and Warner Bros, as well as representing gaming talent such as Danny Aarons, ShaunaGames, and AJ3.
