Amanda Holden's husband Chris Hughes 'quits' as director at Phillip Schofield's former agency

Amanda Holden's husband Chris Hughes has reportedly "quit" as the director at talent agency YMU, which sensationally dropped former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield last month.

YMU still represents Amanda and her fellow Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell. According to MailOnline, Chris resigned as a director of the holding company of YMU nearly two months ago, on April 18.The business is also said to have called in trusted advisers to explore financial restructuring.

What's more, according to its latest accounts, the company made a loss of £4.8million and still has net liabilities of £74.7million.

Chris, 69, is one of ten directors who have quit the company in the last three years, according to the publication. A source also told MailOnline that two of the ten departing directors were employees of YMU’s buyers Trilantic.They subsequently left the firm.
