GMB's Adil Ray brands expert 'nasty and cynical' as tense Meghan and Harry row escalates
Good Morning Britain host Adil Ray questioned a Royal expert as she slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after it was announced they'd made a surprise visit to the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have held "top secret" talks with the Queen and Prince Charles at Windsor Castle on Thursday April 14.It has been reported that Prince Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, stopped off in London while en rout to the Invictus Games in Holland.Host's Adil and Kate Garraway welcomed Royal biographers Angela Levin and Ingrid Seward to discuss the shock trip on Friday's show.Angela seemed to believe that Harry and Meghan could have been reprimanded for not showing up to Prince Philip's memorial service as she branded the pair "unkind and untruthful".This prompted Adil to hit back asking the expert why people were being still so "nasty and cynical" about Harry and Meghan? The GMB host argued: "Moments like this happen, often when someone is unwell or there is funeral, it brings families together."Look, every family operates like this, why are we so cynical and nasty about Harry and Meghan?" In response, Angela commented: "I'm not cynical."Did 15 million people hear that you were behaving badly or that one of your relatives were hurt badly, no."Interjecting, Adil barked: "But you go onto Facebook Angela, people share all kinds of dirty washing about their relatives and family on there."That's their media broadcasting, thats their platform and people do it all of the time." Debating Adil's points, the Royal biographer said: "But also the Queen has needed them for quite a long time and it's taken them quite a long time to realise that.
