C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels joins Star Wars guest line-up at Comic Con Scotland
Star Wars line-up at Comic Con Scotland this autumn.Anthony Daniels first appeared as C-3PO in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in 1977, and is the only actor to have appeared in all 10 Star Wars films - as well as numerous spin-offs and video games.Fans will now be able to meet the actor in person at Comic Con Scotland, which will be held at The Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh from October 8-9, 2022.They also have a chance to have their photograph with the actor, as well as the opportunity to meet him and ask for an autograph too.His appearance at Comic Con Scotland follows another huge Star Wars guest announcement earlier in the month, with the all-star guest line-up welcoming another icon from the sci-fi universe.Star Wars fans will also have the chance to meet Hollywood icon and Obi-Wan Kenobi actor Ewan McGregor at Comic Con Scotland too, following the actor's reprisal of his role in the critically acclaimed Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series.Comic Con Scotland, which is organised by Monopoly Events, will see the Doctor Sleep and Moulin Rouge actor joined by a whole host of big names from film and TV for the highly anticipated event.The incredible line-up includes Clueless' Alicia Silverstone, Titanic's Billy Zane, Umbrella Academy's Tom Hopper, Scrubs' John C.

Man bitten by 7ft alligator after mistaking beast for 'dog with long leash'
alligator took a chunk out of a man’s leg after he mistook the deadly beast for a dog.The frightening encounter occurred as 7ft-long reptile hid in the bushes of the garden at Warm Mineral Springs Motel in the Sarasota County area of Florida in the early hours of Thursday morning.As the man took a stroll, and seeing something catch his eye, he stopped to look at what he thought was a “dog with a long leash”.But he was given an almighty shock, when the alligator pounced and took a large bite of his leg, tearing some tissue away from his limb in the process.The victim found a deputy responding to a nearby call and he was able to get the unnamed man help – he was rushed to Sarasota Memorial Hospital where he was given treatment for his non-life threatening injuries.The gator was captured and was “transferred alive to Townsend Farms”, in LaBelle, according to Adam Brown, the spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.Sarasota County sheriff’s spokesman Douglas Johnson said of the 49-year-old man: “He stated the figure appeared to look like a dog with a long leash, which is why he wasn't hesitant to move out of the way.
