A father from Little Hulton has been jailed for injuring another man with a meat cleaver in 'retaliation' for assaulting his 12-year-old son.
Scott Pearson, 42, turned up at a paper straw factory in Salford after receiving a call from his son about the incident. Lukasz Piasecki, was on a work break at around 6pm on September 13 when youths started throwing stones at him from the other side of a fence.
Manchester Crown Court heard today (January 2) that there was then an 'altercation' between Mr Piasecki and the youths, including Pearson's son.
