Manchester City are 'on the brink' of completing the signing of highly-rated Hungarian forward Zalan Vancsa. That is according to a report by The Telegraph who claim that City have reached an agreement with MTK Budapest to lure the 17-year-old to the Etihad Stadium.
Vancsa has been heavily linked with a whole host of big-name European clubs, including Bayern Munich and AC Milan, so could be a huge coup for City if they get it over the line without any late hiccups.
The youngster — who would be considered as a signing for the future, taking into account his age and inexperience at the top level — could be sent back to MTK Budapest on loan for the remainder of the season, ahead of trying to lay down a marker in England ahead of the start of next season.
He is set to undergo a medical before completing the deal, but it is reported to be heading in the right direction. Elsewhere, City are 'considering' offering a big-money deal to Juventus and Argentina forward Paulo Dybala in a bid to bring him to the Etihad Stadium, according to Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport.
