He was discharged from his latest visit to hospital on Thursday, having been admitted for four days over the past week.The 81-year-old has been undergoing treatment for colon cancer for some time and visits hospital at least once a month for check-ups.
He has also been receiving chemotherapy for a tumour that was detected last September.He has now returned home following his latest treatment, sharing an update with his followers from his seafront property.
He posted a picture alongside his wife Marcia and his dog Cacau from in front of the ocean.As the caption, Pele wrote: "The peace of being next to my dear wife, Márcia, and our inseparable companion, Cacau.
