Wigan Athletic have confirmed the exit of boss Paul Cook. Cook offered his resignation at the crisis club this week, after a run of 10 wins in his final 18 games at the helm.
That would have seen the Latics finish 13th in the Championship, had they not been deducted 12 points after new owners immediately placed them in administration in July.
Cook, 53, led the side's ultimately unsuccessful battle against the drop, but has elected to walk away.
