Partner of teacher in coma after botched procedure in China says prognosis 'not looking good'

The partner of a teacher who has been in a coma for nine months in a Chinese hospital after a routine clinical procedure went terribly wrong has stated: "They’d rather she died." Adrian Casey revealed that the medical bill in Shanghai is now reaching £200,000.

He is desperately attempting to bring his partner Emma Grainger - who fell into unconsciousness following a series of hydrocortisone injections to ease migraines - back to the UK.

He admits that her long-term prognosis is not looking good, reports Birmingham Live.The couple moved from their home in Shropshire in 2019 to take teaching jobs abroad.Adrian is pursuing action against the clinic involved.
