Four of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's former aides may have evidence which could "shed some light" on the duchess' handwritten letter to her estranged dad, the High Court has been told.
The so-called "Palace Four" - Jason Knauf, Christian Jones, Samantha Cohen and Sara Latham - may know whether Meghan expected the letter to be leaked or gave private information to the authors of Finding Freedom, their lawyers say.
Meghan denies leaking the letter. In a letter read in court, the lawyers said the "Palace Four" do not want to be involved in the court fight between Meghan and Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) and are "strictly neutral", amid the prospect that they could be called to testify at a trial.
