dailyrecord.co.ukBrendan Fraser said Glasgow was the 'perfect' Gotham City after filming Batgirl in Scotland before the movie was scrapped. The Hollywood actor starred alongside Michael Keaton, JK Simmons and Leslie Grace in the film, which was shot solely in the city during 2021 and early 2022.
During a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show, he said: "Gotham never looked better cast as Glasgow, Scotland."Production took over much of the city for a number of months, but the movie was ultimately scrapped by Warner Bros after a poor reaction at test screenings.
Glasgow has doubled for Gotham City again as Robert Pattinson's gritty portrayal of the caped crusader saw filming crews descend to the Necropolis recently for The Batman.
Detailing his love for the city, Fraser continued: "It's decaying and just gorgeous, and it looks like it's Gotham City. It's perfectly cast.
