Optical illusions can be seriously baffling at times. Some could reveal whether you're a cat or dog person, while others say a lot about your personality.

Now Lenstore has created a moving illusion where the blue circle appears to change colour. But the truth is that the colour of the circle isn't actually changing at all.

This colour saturation optical illusion showcases how easily we can be fooled when we are distinguishing colours. It works with our brain deciding the colour of the circle when it's compared against different colours and lighting backgrounds.

The illusion can baffle viewers but also proves how static images could really deceive us. Sujata Paul, professional services client lead at Lenstore, explained why these type of illusions fool people. The optician said: "We have cells in our retina, one called cones which judge colour and the other rods which judge brightness.
