One person has died and six others have been left wounded after a gunman opened fire at a cabinet making plant in Texas. The alleged shooter was said to have fled the scene of the killing and shot a state trooper after a police chase into a neighbouring county.
The deadly shooting took place on Thursday at the plant where the suspect worked. Four of the wounded in the rampage at Kent Moore Cabinets, a warehouse-sized facility at an industrial park in Bryan, Texas, were rushed to hospital in a critical condition, the police department said on Twitter.
The suspect, later identified by police as Larry Winston Bollin, a 27-year-old employee, was being held on $1 million bond facing murder charges, Brazos County jail records showed.
