Oldham man charged with dangerous driving after police chase in north Wales

Oldham has been charged with a string of driving offences following a police chase in north Wales. Police in Towyn were called on Saturday (8 August) morning to reports of a Volkswagen golf estate driving dangerously.When traffic officers attempted to stop the car, the driver led police on a pursuit along the A55.The driver attempted to negotiate a right hand bend and failed, resulting in the car crashing into a ditch on Gors Road.

A  Welsh Ambulance Service  spokesperson said they were called to the scene of the crash at around 10.19am and sent one ambulance.

A woman was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan.No details were available on her condition.A 30-year-old man from Oldham has been charged with dangerous driving, fail to stop.
