Nigel Farage is leaving LBC, the radio station has revealed. The Brexit Party leader has hosted a talk in show on the station for three years.
In a statement, LBC said: "Nigel Farage’s contract with LBC is up very shortly and, following discussions with him, Nigel is stepping down from LBC with immediate effect. "We thank Nigel for the enormous contribution he has made to LBC and wish him well." Mr Farage had been a key draw for the station, with many Brexiteer listeners using his show to vent their frustration at the mainstream media.
But the former MEP has become increasingly controversial in recent weeks, including comparing Black Lives Matters protesters to terrorists.
