Nicola Sturgeon has announced rules changes for people entering Scotland - making it cheaper and easier for travellers. The First Minster revealed to MSPs in the Scottish Parliament that from 4am on October 31 people will be able to take a lateral flow test with photo ID instead of having to take a more expensive PCR test.
Changes will see Scotland now aligned with England after the measures were brought in south of the border on October 15.It will now make it cheaper for travellers entering Scotland with tests costing between £20 and £30.
The SNP Government has come under increasing pressure to have the same rules in place as in England in order to not confuse people entering the United Kingdom.
