A 29-year-old NHS nurse who "helped more people than most will in a lifetime" has sadly died of coronavirus. Rebecca Mack, who was described in devastating tributes as an incredible nurse who made her family proud every day, died on Sunday.
Her best friends say she was "honest, warm and charismatic" and very proud of her job. Parents of young patients she cared for have been sharing their condolences, saying how 'wonderfully' she looked after their children.
In a heartbreaking tribute, her friend Sarah Bredin-Kemp wrote: "This is really hard. For anyone who doesn't know, we lost our beautiful Rebecca Mack on Sunday to covid-19. "She was 29 and she was one of my best friends." She added: "Becca was one of the best friends I've ever had.
