NHS staff were forced to wait in bitterly cold weather after an admin blunder meant vaccine workers did not show up. Medics and other hospital staff had to wait for two and a half hours for their vaccines outside Glasgow's Royal Infirmary on Monday.

NHS bosses have issued an apology for the vaccine workers' delay, Glasgow Live reported. Patients missed appointments because medics including surgeons were stuck in the queue, according to a source.
