NHS coronavirus doctor living in caravan to self-isolate from cancer patient son

An NHS doctor has spoken out about choosing to live in a mobile home as he lives away from his young son who is battling cancer.

Nick Dennison, an anaesthetist at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey, is self-isolating from his three-year-old, while he treats coronavirus patients.

Posting on Facebook, he explained the horrifying choice he'd had to make. He said: "On a more personal level, my son turned three years old last week and is six weeks into a three-year chemotherapy program for lymphoma. "This virus is a big threat to his life and as I am going to be exposed this week doing my job, I can no longer live at home.
