Dan Walker's advice was ignored by Sally Nugent when she took over from Louise Minchin as one of the main presenters on BBC Breakfast at the end of last year.
Writing for The Sunday Times, Sally gave fans a glimpse inside her day-to-day life, while revealing some advice that her co-host gave her – that she decided to ignore.In her piece for the publication she said that when she's presenting BBC Breakfast her alarm goes off at 3.45am.After her stint on the sofa, she then leaves the BBC studios at 10.30am.She wrote in her piece: “The show finishes at 9.13am.
Not a minute later. We then debrief. I leave the studio around 10.30am.“Unlike Dan, who stays up, I go home, take off all my make-up and go back to bed.“It's an old bit of [former BBC Breakfast presenter] Bill Turnbull wisdom.“It's never more than an hour.“Then I get up and start my day again.”After giving fans an insight of what her daily schedule is like, she said: You have to be really careful on breakfast shows that you don't do the double breakfast.
