Do you think Calvin Ridley should be banned for betting on NFL games? Let us know in the comments section. The NFL found that Ridley made the bets while he was away from the team after he opted to sit out and concentrate on his mental health in November 2021.

They said there was no reason to suggest Ridley had used inside information or influenced the outcome of any games due to his betting. The NFL also said it was satisfied no other members of the Falcons franchise were involved in the case, although ESPN reported Ridley bet on the Falcons to win.“We were first made aware of the league’s investigation on 9 February.

We have cooperated fully with the investigation since receiving notice and support the league’s findings and actions,” the Falcons said in a statement. “We are moving forward in the 2022 season with the decision that was made.

With the decision that was made by the NFL, any further questions on the investigation should be directed to the league office.”Want to be on the ball with all of the latest football news?Well then sign up for the brilliant Daily Star football email newsletter! From the latest transfer news to the agenda-setting stories, get it all in your email inbox - don't miss a thing. It only takes a matter of seconds.Simply type your email address into the box at the top of this article and hit 'subscribe'.And that's it, job done.
