Newcastle are reportedly plotting a new bid for Sevilla star Diego Carlos - just weeks after seeing their £40million offer rebuffed.Toon boss Eddie Howe splashed the cash in January in a bid to boost Newcastle's survival hopes, with Kieran Trippier, Chris Wood, Bruno Guimaraes, Matt Targett and Dan Burn all signing on at St James' Park during the winter transfer window.However, a deal for Carlos evaded them after Sevilla played hardball over their defensive lynchpin.But the Magpies are still keen on luring Carlos to the Premier League and are planning to make a fresh raid on Sevilla in the summer.
