A gaming cafe where fans can get their geek on is coming to Bolton. Geek Retreat is a gamer's paradise - giving them somewhere to indulge in their hobbies, trade cards and chill out with a bite to eat.

Billed as 'the friendliest place to meet, eat, shop and games, the cafes have already taken off in Bury and Wigan, the latter opening last November, and it's hoped the Bolton branch, which is located in Market Place, will have similar success.

From fans of Marvel, board games and Pokémon to Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Warhammer, all are welcome to meet and play their hobbies together.

The cafes, which run on a franchise basis, stock ‘geek culture’ merchandise such as comics, posters, clothing, figures and memorabilia as well as games and trading cards.
