Pogba has wanted out of United for the best part of four years, Lingard was open to leaving in the January transfer window, Cavani turns 35 next week and has missed more than half United's matches this season and Mata has played just three times this term.
Fourth-choice goalkeeper Lee Grant is expected to be let go as United prepare for an exodus of seniority from their playing staff. "I don’t know.
It’s far too early to speak about that," Rangnick said of the players' futures. "It’s also a question of what the players want and how does the club see it but these are not any interesting topics or issues for us right now. "For us right now it’s to get the best out of the season and this is in the interests of the club, the fans, our current coaching staff but also the players. "Even if they want to leave at the end of the season they have the chance to get a new offer from any other club, including Manchester United, and it is much bigger and much higher if they do well, play well and if we are being successful." United lack incentives to persuade players to stay as they are facing their worst trophy drought since the nine-year period between the 1968 European Cup win and 1977 FA Cup triumph, a spell when they were relegated to Division Two in 1974.
