After Barry Ferguson’s first penalty was saved by Sebastian Frey in the Stadio Artemio Franchi, it was Alexander who kept the Euro dream alive by backing up the conversions of Steven Whittaker and Sasa Papac with a stunning save from Fabio Liverani.
