Sophie Tuscan du Plantier’s former neighbours, who discovered her body, have put their West Cork home up for sale. The two-bedroom farmhouse in Toormore near Schull, belongs to Shirley Forster and the late Alfie Lyons, who sadly passed away a few months ago.
The home, which was gone on the market for €250,000, is located just 100 yards from where Sophie’s body was discovered 25 years ago.
Shirley and Alan’s home shares a laneway with the cottage where Sophie died. Sophie’s tragic unsolved murder has featured heavily in the news as of late, with the release of two separate documentary series detailing all that is known about the French film-maker’s death.
