Pundit Stephen Craigan reckons Rangers should use some of the money from Nathan Patterson's sale to keep Connor Goldson. The Scotland cap has sealed an £11.5million exit and the Scottish champions will receive significant add ons as the 20-year-old progresses in the English Premier League.
Key defender Goldson is now in the final six months of his contract and could be following Patterson out of the door. Bur Craigan insists that some of the incoming transfer fee should go to a new deal for the centre-back.
He believes Gio van Bronckhorst will have been impressed with the 29-year-old since his arrival at Ibrox and will view the players as irreplaceable to Rangers.
