Doekhi and Souttar set for Rangers 'double transfer offer' as Ibrox signing push ramps up

Rangers will make offers to both Danilho Doekhi and John Souttar in January, according to a report. Ibrox boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst is keen on securing defensive reinforcements with Connor Goldson yet to agree a new contract.

Goldson is free to negotiate a pre-contract elsewhere as he enters the final six months of his deal. But so are Hearts star Souttar and Vitesse Arnhem captain Doekhi.

The Scottish Sun report Rangers are set to approach the pair in the coming weeks and could submit a January bid to the Jambos for Souttar if they can agree a pre-contract.
