A murder investigation has been launched into the death of a window cleaner killed in a 'particularly violent incident, as family and friends pay tribute.
Lee Knott was found seriously injured in the street in the Wythenshaw area of Manchester by emergency services at around 5.10pm on Tuesday.
The 'kind and lovely' popular window cleaner was taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later. Manchester Coroners' Court confirmed a file relating to Mr Knott's death had been passed to the coroner.
