A mum shared the gift she made for her son's 18th birthday online - and fellow parents are obsessed with it. Any parent with a teenager knows how hard it can be to buy for them when it comes to their birthday or Christmas.

So an Australian woman shared the DIY gift she put together for her son to ensure he would be happy with what he got. She had arranged five different gift cards on a notice board with a note beside each one The note read: "Happy 18th Caylan. "Treat yourself to something for the road untravelled, for your car or fishing.

Enjoy now you’re 18 and legal but get home safe. Love Dad, Alicia and Ava." Beside the note was a number of gift cards for different shops.
