A mum launched a vicious attack on a 15-year-old schoolgirl because she was ‘showing off’ on social media, a court has heard.
Ghazala Mahmood, 44, had become involved in a row between the victim and her daughter, which escalated into a heated altercation outside Levenshulme High School in Manchester last April.
During the fight, the mother-of-four grabbed the girl’s hair so hard that a ‘large clump’ came out. A teacher also described how people jumped on one another 'like a rugby pile’.
Manchester Crown Court heard how the row exploded outside the all girls secondary school after the victim - who Mahmood’s daughter and her friends accused of ‘showing off’ - was challenged to a fight.
