As the UK is currently on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, parents are constantly scrambling for ideas on how to keep the little ones amused.

A mum shared a two-ingredient science experiment which can distract the kids for hours, while others are following traditional homeschooling methods.

Then there's mum Laura Appleton who couldn't help but chuckle when her five-year-old daughter completed a simple drawing task in a colouring book.

At the top of her daughter Mia’s colouring book, it read: “Now create your own dream outfit in the space below.” But when Laura saw the finished product, she just couldn’t help but laugh at it and share it on the Facebook group Housebound with Kids.
