A mum suffered multi-organ failure after after an accidental overdose on painkillers, an inquest heard. Louise Waller had taken paracetamol tablets on a daily basis for more than four months to manage her abdominal pain.
But it caused liver failure and the 39-year-old woman was dashed to hospital in September last year, Hull Live reports. The mother-of-two's condition worsened and, though she was transferred from Hull Royal Infirmary to Leeds General Infirmary, she developed sepsis from a perforated bowel and underlying colitis, which led to multi-organ failure.
Louise went in to a coma and her life support had to be turned off 11 days later and she died on September 22, 2019. The mum's inquest on Friday at Hull Coroner's Court heard
