A young woman accidentally killed herself after posting a “cry for help” photo on Snapchat, an inquest heard. Mum Molly Westbury shared the picture to her Snapchat stories showing something tied around her neck.
Hours later, the 22-year-old was found hanged at her mother’s house. However, an inquest at Derby Coroner’s Court this week ruled that she did not mean to take her own life.
Assistant coroner Tanyka Rawden said she believed the picture posted on social media was an attempt to get help from her friends and proved she did not intend to take her life, reports DerbyshireLive.
