Poignant tributes have been paid to a much-loved football fan who was killed while out jogging at a notorious accident blackspot in London.
Marketing manager Jack Ryan, 29, was struck by an oncoming Range Rover on Wednesday near to Battersea Bridge in west London.
Medics tried to save him but nothing could be done and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Range Rover stopped and is helping police with their enquiries.
The life-long Aston Villa fan was thought to have been out jogging when the incident took place at about 6pm, Birmingham Live reports.
