Mourners asked to wear bright colours to funeral of tragic Lanarkshire schoolgirl

The heartbroken mother of a Cumbernauld schoolgirl who died from an asthma attack has asked mourners to wear bright colours to her funeral.Tracy Bulpitt said she had lost her “precious angel” in 12-year-old Katy.And she has now requested mourners wear pink or purple in tribute to her at St Joseph’s Church on Wednesday.

The mum-of-six also revealed that her father, Robert Speirs, had died on Tuesday aged 71.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
