Emergency services were called to Lancashire Hill at around 5.35pm on Friday (26 March) to reports of a collision between a car and motorbike.
The motorbike rider suffered serious but non-life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital, police said. No arrests have been made and the driver of the car stayed at the scene.
The B6167 Lancashire Hill was closed by police in both directions for a number of hours on Friday night. Pictures from the scene show a red vehicle inside the police cordon which had been badly damaged.
