But not everyone though the mother-in-law had chosen her dress with any malice intended. “It doesn’t look bridal to me at all, I think it does look like a dress that the mother of the bride/groom would wear,” one said. “Would have been nicer in a different colour obviously, but it isn’t the end of the world, no one is going to assume she’s the bride and she definitely won’t upstage you wearing that,” a second added.
