Morton chief executive Dave MacKinnon has today trashed Inverness Caley Thistle’s claim they were not seeking to null and void the SPFL season across all four leagues. on Monday night revealed details of the proposals to bring the current campaign to an end which had been put forward by the Highland club’s chief executive Scot Gardiner in a meeting with other Championship clubs.
The talks were held ahead of the controversial Good Friday vote on a raft of SPFL emergency measures which effectively ended season 2019/20 and confirmed title winners and relegation issues from the Championship down on a points-per-game ratio.
