Mohamed Salah has insisted that his forward partner Roberto Firmino is still a crucial part of the Liverpool team despite his recent lack of goals.
The arrival of Diogo Jota has put pressure on Firmino's place in the team, especially given his superb form since joining from Wolves.
The Portuguese star has already scored six times since his arrival, including a sensational hat-trick against Atalanta in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Firmino, on the other hand, has found the net just once this season, and there are suggestions he could be benched in favour of Jota in the Reds' massive game against Manchester City on Sunday.
