Arsenal missed out on signing Liverpool ace Diogo Jota before his move to Atletico Madrid in 2016, according to reports. Jota has hit the ground running at Anfield since completing a £45million switch from Wolves in September, registering seven goals in his first 11 appearances for the Premier League champions.
He is already providing Jurgen Klopp with a selection dilemma on Merseyside, with some Reds fans calling for him to replace Roberto Firmino at the pinpoint of their attack.
The Portugal international has scored goals pretty much everywhere he has been, bagging 44 in 131 games for Wolves and netting nine goals in his brief loan stint at Porto.He also scored 15 times in 45 games for first club Pacos de Ferreira, an impressive return.
