A Miss World finalist who is said to have taken her own life has been described as “feisty” and “genuine.” Tragic Amber-Lee Friis, 23, passed away on Monday in Auckland, New Zealand.
She travelled to Thailand in 2018 as a Miss World NZ Finalist – but lost out in the final round. Amber-Lee previously revealed she was relentlessly bullied at school because of her "slanted eyes" and "tanned skin" – with one classmate repeatedly calling her names.
