Britain's coronavirus death toll is so high because the country receives so many international travellers, a government minister said today.
A total of 41,128 people have died in hospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive for the deadly virus.
Shockingly, the UK is the second country in the world to reach such high figures - after the US with 115,000 deaths so far. In an interview with Sky News this morning, housing minister Simon Clarke was questioned on whether UK scientists had got it wrong.
