serial killer who murdered Milly Dowler, is reportedly engaged to a female prison visitor who he plans to marry from behind bars.The depraved 53-year-old allegedly got down on one knee in front of shocked prison staff, placed a ring on his lover's finger and popped the question – to which she accepted.He is currently serving a whole-life sentence having been found guilty of killing Dowler, 13, Marsha McDonnell, 19, Amélie Delagrange, 22, and attempting to kill Kate Sheedy, 18 at the time.According to The Sun, Bellfield has now contacted a solicitor to facilitate the marriage from within HMP Frankland in County Durham.The woman is reportedly a blonde in her 40s.

Bellfield wrote to her two years ago and they've been corresponding ever since, with her visiting him once or twice a week for two hours at a time.

The news has sparked fury among prison officials, police and politicians. Justice Secretary Robert Buckland told The Sun: "Milly never got to see her wedding day.
