The new commercial starring Pascal is directed by filmmaker Spike Jonze (“Her,” “Being John Malkovich”). The five-and-a-half-minute film, “Someday,” follows Pascal’s character as he navigates an emotional journey of moving on after a breakup.

In a charming new Coldplay video for the band’s song “All My Love,” comedy legend Dick Van Dyke takes center stage – on his Malibu patio – and shares his thoughts on his long life (he turns 99 on December 13) and mortality.

Coldplay have shared a wholesome new music video for the single ‘All My Love’, starring acting legend Dick Van Dyke.The band previously debuted the song during a concert in Athens, and later frontman Chris Martin was spotted in Las Vegas singing the track at a karaoke bar while donning a thinly veiled disguise.It later turned out that the undercover antics were actually the filming of a music video, which arrived in the start of October, and the song was shared as part of their latest album ‘Moon Music’.Now, a new version of the music video has been unveiled, celebrating the Hollywood icon Dick Van Dyke.Arriving today (December 6) as a special, extended Directors’ Cut video, the video was co-directed by award-winning directors Spike Jonze and Mary Wigmore, and looks to celebrate the life and career of the Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang star ahead of his 99th birthday.It was shot at Van Dyke’s home in Malibu and features the performer ruminating about age, family and love. A shorter variation will be shared next Friday (December 13) to mark his birthday.

Daft Punk have shared the trailer for their 2003 anime film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar. Watch it below.The trailer comes ahead of the one-night-only event on December 12, which will bring the celebrated anime to the big screen at over 800 cinemas across the globe.Per a press release, the film was remastered in 4K and includes an additional six of Daft Punk’s most iconic music videos directed by the likes of Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, Seb Janiak, Roman Coppola, and Warren Fu.

Daft Punk‘s 2003 anime film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar is coming to cinemas worldwide later this year.Directed by Kazuhisa Takenouchi – under the supervision of veteran manga artist Leiji Matsumoto – Interstella 5555 was produced as a visual companion to the duo’s 2001 album ‘Discovery’, with its entirety serving as the soundtrack to the film, which contains no dialogue.Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo conceptualised Interstella 5555 with regular collaborator Cédric Hervet. The film only received a limited theatrical run in 2003 after its Cannes Film Festival premiere that year.

Well, this is unfortunate: Deadline reports that Spike Jonze‘s project over at Netflix, his first foray into scripted television, has been scrapped by the streamer.  It’s unclear what made Netflix scuttle the limited series after a couple of years of development, but sources indicate it’s due to Jonze deciding to exit, although there’s a slim chance he may come back. Beastie Boys will sue the company that owns Chili’s Grill and Bar, claiming the restaurant chain unlawfully parodied their 1994 hit ‘Sabotage’.The hip hop trio have filed a lawsuit against Brinker International for using their song in a Chili’s advert, which allegedly spoofed ‘Sabotage’ and its iconic Spike Jonze-directed video.Filed on Wednesday (July 10) in New York on behalf of the three members Adam Horovitz ‘Ad Rock’, Mike ‘Mike D’ Diamond and the estate of Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch (who passed away in 2012), the band’s lawyers argued the chain used ‘Sabotage’ “without the permission of the rights owners.”Beastie Boys do not license any of their intellectual property for “third-party product advertising purposes”, which Yauch reportedly included in his will.They claimed one Chili’s video not only used ‘Sabotage’, but also showed “three characters wearing obvious 70s-style wigs, fake mustaches, and sunglasses who were intended to evoke the three members of Beastie Boys performed scenes depicting them ‘robbing’ ingredients from a Chili’s restaurant.”The band have alleged this was meant to parody the ‘Sabotage’ video and falsely given the impression that they endorse Chili’s.Beastie Boys are seeking around $150,000 (£115,932) in damages and demanding Brinker remove the offending videos.

Beastie Boys are suing the owner of Chili’s for using their song “Sabotage” in social media ads.The hip-hop and rock group filed a complaint in Manhattan federal court accusing Chili’s owner Brinker of copyright infringement and unfair competition from using significant portions of the 1994 track without a license.“Use of the ‘Sabotage’ sound recording, music composition and video was all without permission,” the group’s attorneys wrote in the lawsuit on Wednesday, obtained by the Post. “The plaintiffs do not license ‘Sabotage’ or any of their other intellectual property for third-party product advertising purposes, and deceased Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch included a provision in his will prohibiting such uses.”Yauch’s estate, Michael Diamond and Adam Horovitz are all listed as plaintiffs in the suit.

Johansson, in a statement provided to Variety, said her lawyers contacted OpenAI to have the voice of Sky, one of the new voices in the GPT-4o conversational chatbot release, pulled down. OpenAI introduced the Sky voice, which sounded very like that of Johansson’s disembodied AI companion in Spike Jonze’s 2013 movie “Her.” The company on Monday said it would “pause” the use of the Sky voice, and said the voice was supplied by another actor.
