Dani Ceballos' time at Arsenal could almost be over with reports in Spain claiming the club have decided they do not plan to extend his loan for another season.
The midfielder was snapped up by the Gunners last summer with Unai Emery convincing him to head to north London from Real Madrid.
After a bright start to his stint was derailed by injury, he has had a new lease of life under new manager Mikel Arteta. But his momentum has been halted by the coronavirus pandemic, and El Confidencial report the Gunners do not plan to try and keep him next season.
They are still hopeful of reaching an agreement with Real Madrid to retain his services until the current season is completed.
