Ainsley Maitland-Niles is reportedly facing up to the fact he may have to leave Arsenal to fulfil his ambitions. The 22-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular first-team place at The Emirates and seems increasingly out of favour under new boss Mikel Arteta.
Most of Maitland-Niles' performances have come on the right side of Arsenal's defence, where Hector Bellerin is first choice and new signing Cedric Soares provides cover.
Arteta had shown faith in the youngster when he was appointed in December, selecting him in all of his first six matches. However he has played in just four of the 12 games since as Arteta has limited him to only 70 minutes of action.
